Embroidery Scissor Types and Styles

Curved-end scissors
These scissors have a curved end for cutting jump stitches, joining stitches and for small appliqué work. 3 ½" scissor, 1" blade

Snippers
These are straight ended, snipping scissors. 4 ¾" scissor, 1 ¼" blade

Curved-end scissors
Gold trimmed scissor, curved end for cutting jump stitches, joining stitches and small appliqué. 3 ½" scissor, 1" blade or 4" scissor, 1" blade.

Disposable embroidery snips
Minimum quantity is 1 dozen. 4" scissor, 1" blade.

Straight-end scissors
Similar to curved-end scissors (SKU#572), but with a straight end. 3 ½" scissor, 1 ¼" blade.

Embroidery tweezers - SKU #TWE6

These deluxe 6" curved tweezers are made of forged stainless steel. The surgical precision points have serrated teeth, allowing the finest threads to be grasped.

Ginger Double-Curved Embroidery Scissors – 4"
These scissors have larger finger holes and are curved to make cutting in tight places easy.

Stitch Remover Scissors
This scissor is two tools in one - it works like a seam ripper and also cuts. There is a small hook on one side making it easy to pick up jump stitches, and the scissors clip close to the fabric. 4" length, 1 ¼" blade.

These scissors are curved to make cutting in an embroidery hoop more comfortable and precise.

Gingher Featherweight Thread Clip – 4"
These scissors have very sharp points, have no finger holes and weigh only ½ ounce. This model has very sharp points, useful for pulling thread and reaching in tight spots for cutting thread. The protective safety cap is fitted with a loop for attaching a string, to be worn around your neck while working. These are a favorite among embroiderers!
