Embroidery yarns with character of needle work: COTTY 12
There are two yarns in our product range which can be embroidered on automatic embroidery machines, namely

FILAINE 12 and COTTY 12

coarser yarn of high quality longibered Egyptian cotton mercerised

Please note carefully the following suppositions:

	1. Only use embroidery programs which are determined for such strong yarns with needle work character. Few short stitches, low stitch density, few or no underlay stitches.
	2. Use our needles No. 80 oder 90.
	3. Use bobbin thread BOBBY SYN 100.
	4. Adapt the thread tension and the bobbin thread tensin to the basic material to be embroidered on. In exceptional cases the hook adjustment must be adapted in order to give more space to the stitch formation when using the thicker COTTY yarn.
	5. If you embroider on knitted fabrics, we recommend stabilizing the knitwear before embroidering with our embroidery fleece STIFFY®. In case of high quality designs, we recommend using coated STIFFY® (type B) which can be ironed onto the fabric. The embroidery fleece can be easily removed after having embroidered.
	6. For embroidery designs of superior quality, we recommend using SOLVY as an aid. SOLVY prevents the stitches from disappearing in the fabric. With the aid of SOLVY, the stitches are, therefore, well on the surface as if done by needle work.
