KK Pro Tips: What’s the Difference And Why You Need It
Whether you’re working on appliqué, 3D puffy designs, or just need to keep materials in place, the right adhesive makes all the difference. Here's a quick guide to help you choose the best KK product for the job.

Secure Backing
Helps your backing stick to your base material.
Appliqué Work
Keeps pieces in place before and during stitching.
3D Puffy Foam
Prevents shifting during embroidery for clean, professional results.

Sprays vs. Sheets
All KK sprays use the same adhesive formula—the difference is in how it’s delivered: The propellant (the gas that releases the spray) varies, which affects how the adhesive dispenses.
💡 Note: Any stickiness will dissipate within 24 hours or come out in the wash. To remove residue quickly, wipe with denatured alcohol.

KK Economy
- Fine mist spray
- Best for smaller areas or detail work
KK Premium
- More concentrated spray coverage
- Ideal for larger surfaces and projects
KK Film
- Adhesive sheet instead of spray
- Great for precise placement like appliqué
- Can be cut with scissors, plotter, or laser
- Heat-activated for a stronger temporary bond (not for sealing)
